Hi fam, thank you for the wait since there was no post last weekend. I’m definitely trying to be consistent but in everything, I never want to compromise on the intentionality of what I share and owed to the many events that happened in my personal space, I found I couldn’t honestly do that as there was so much to take in personally.

This week hasn’t been so far from that either but it’s been very different too. So many situations (I found myself in or became party to through sharing) had me fighting for hope in the midst of chaos. Almost everything I’m consuming (a good majority especially unintentionally) are reminders of how lost, wicked and depraved the world I’m in is. The desperation to make sure not one person goes down alone and it doesn’t matter how it’s achieved. The evil and depravity out here is bold and more callous by the day. We are so lost but worse is that we don’t care anymore, we want a full house party and we want to torch up the house with everyone we’ve manipulatively invited. Living in Nigeria at the moment seems like No 1 on “1000 ways to die” (sadly).

I started my reading this year with a book by Rick Joyner “The Final Quest” and it’s no coincidence I chose to read this now. I personally believe every believer on the quest of continuous sharpening should read this and should you have read, now will be a great time to revisit. Anyone who’s aware of the times and has no interest in playing ignorant should also read. These are times we need not allow ourselves be overweighed and defeated in hopelessness, destroyed from rage, jealousy and even guilt. The authors definition of a series of visions God gave him over a period of one year highlight the battle between light and darkness, the weapons of warfare that will secure victory without losing sight of our individual walks, growth and my personal favorite; highlighting that God is always interested and invested in our acts of love for our brother and our enemies.

So far this compilation has been a reminder also for me that in this end time war, whether we choose to be unbothered or not, everybody is on the battlefield and playing the ignorant, passive or jesting game will only do more harm to ourselves and contribute to the weakening of the body of Christ. The time has been set to run its course, our choices either leave us vulnerable and susceptible to danger, harm, destruction or defeating the wickedness and being counted on the side of victory because there is hope and this is what I want to conclude on.

There is hope! That hope is on the side of God. Victory has been concluded, Christ finished it, He took the keys and rose to glory, but He left you and me with a choice. The enemy knows His fate, He just won’t go down alone… do you see the pattern now with the hearts of man in this time and age? Same! This war on God’s side is not disadvantaged and scripture will be fulfilled. If you could read this through, please get you the wisdom for the times and please fight self to keep hope alive.

“Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Proverbs 4:5-7 NKJV”
